The Dolls House project reimagines a compact cottage in Branscombe, transforming the small grade II listed structure into a functional family living space. The architectural solution centres on a bespoke oak staircase that conceals bathroom, utility, and storage areas beneath its carefully designed form.

The living spaces are flipped with a multi-purpose living and dining area above, and a master bedroom below maximising light and spatial efficiency. Critical engineering challenges were overcome by strategically reinforcing existing walls and carefully integrating electrical and water services, ensuring both structural integrity and modern functionality.

By prioritising intelligent design and creative spatial planning, the project demonstrates how limited square footage can be transformed into a versatile, comfortable living environment that respects the cottage's original character.
